Not really a "port" per se as island belongs to NCL (or is rented by NCL). Although it is very private (only cruise passengers have access) it was no more than day at the beach after we were done with our mangrove tour and manatee-watching. Got some great pictures of Pelicans diving for fish though.

Excellent village! Clean, scenic, LOTS of vendors & food options! Snorkeling excursion was okay...spent as much time riding boat to site, as we did In the water--not much to see, and spent most of the time fighting waves trying to keep up with Guide! Would rather have Closer to port location, where waters were calmer, we could see more sealife, & we could "drift" snorkel, rather than fighting waves to keep up with a guide! Felt TOO rushed!

If you get option choose the other Norwegian island. This one charges you to eat and drink. You will see no real culture here - it’s all man made. The water is not clear and the beach is not nearly as nice. It’s pretty but you might as well stay in Florida. We did an excursion to see manatees and mangroves. It was fun but try to get under the shade. It gets hot on the water even in February.
