went to monkey river tour and it was excellent!!! tour guides were great and very imformative and got to see everything we should of seen in the jungle and the boat ride out to monkey river and back was just as fun!!!!

Beautiful place the day was extremely hot and muggy did some shopping for a few hours went back early enjoyed time on land when there. Very clean area.

This time we stayed in the pool. Tip the server and they will come back regularly and tip you in the pool. The food and drink are not included and a little expensive but we had a good time!

NCL “owns” this island in that it’s their private island but every business there is owned and operated by native Belizians. This was apparently part of the agreement between NCL and Belize in order for them to have the private island here. The island itself is beautiful, and it has a nice beach, a massive pool with swim-up bar, a Landshark Bar & Grill, two other open air bars that are more “local” feeling, and many many places to get drinks and to go shopping. We did the zip lining out of the lighthouse which was great, then walked around through the wildlife sanctuary and spent the day drinking on the beach.

It rained while we were here. We could see tons of jellyfish in the water from our balcony. we didn't explore but our neighbors dead and said they had a great time at the butterfly House and a few other places. The water did not look very clear.

Here’s where I was most disappointed. Everything except for the beach, pool and nature area costs money. It’s truly not a private island where the benefits of freestyle cruising would have been in place. We did not stay there long. Went back to the ship to eat and relax.

We only did the 2 person peddle boat it was nice but tiring.

Very touristy. Did not get to experience real Belize. The snorkling excursion was late and short, leaving no time to enjoy port with free time.
