Loved the port, the the shopping was expensive and the country not very likable. Would rather go somewhere else.

The immediate port area was not any different than any other port we have visited- all the same stores, all the same prices, all the same stuff.

not much here. old town with one street. took bus to shopping location. not much there either. suggest you take a 30 minute taxi to larger city.

Grab a tourist person (white safari hat) to walk around town. makes life easier

New port/shopping area a welcome relief from Ocho Rios. You could walk around without the locals trying to push their goods on you
