Review summary

We like the ship and the staff at the Central park bar were excellent. We don;t like the My Time seating and were disappointed that we had no option to change it.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fats, efficient and pleasant.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food is good, the specialty restaurants are excellent but the My Time sitting arrangements are terrible. No one should have to wait on a line for 20-30 minutes before being sat. The My Time system is inherently inefficient, making the wait staff rush around without knowing when they have to serve and the guests are not controlled.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We are not often attracted to the activities on the ship - that is not because of the ship but we just don't want to do many of them. The Rock Wall is a lot of fun, though.

Entertainment

We are not really into theater that much.

Children's Programs

We have no children- duh!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was friendly and efficient.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
For such a large ship it is well laid out and easy to find where we want to go. The interactive maps by the elevators are very useful. The only thing I would like is that the Casino be made a non-smoking area, as I like to play Blackjack but can't stand the stench of the Casino. Even though there there are smoking and non-smoking sections, the smoke infiltrates the entire casino.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything was great.

Ship tip

Walk around the ship when you first get on and familiarize yourself with the main places you expect to use, such as the dining room, pool, hot tubs, wherever else you expect to spend time.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
no excursion- we live close to the port so the use of the garage made embarkation and disembarkation easy.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
The artisans section is a pan to go through because you are harassed by the shop owners. I understand this is how they try to sell their wares, but it is still a pain to have to be accosted just walking through the area.

Falmouth, Jamaica

3 out of 5
The immediate port area was not any different than any other port we have visited- all the same stores, all the same prices, all the same stuff.

Disembarkation
