Scenery looked great. Did not leave the cruise port area though. Prices were absolutely ridiculous in the port area, no need to shop here as its probably cheaper stateside. Will return and try a tour though.

Booked a trip with RC and it was had leisure time and we had 2 hours in Montego Bay. It was too long unless you go to the beach club and pay another $6 each and go swimming. We didn't and it was a very nice place to just hang around, the only place to go was Margaritaville.

The port itself is pretty nice, but fairly limited compared to other ports. Outside of scheduled excursions, activities are pretty limited. We did the Taste of Jamaica at the Good Hope House and it was way overpriced. The tour was OK and the lunch was fantastic. However, they say that you can have access to all of facilities with the purchase of any excursion, but this is just not true. I’d expect more than a short tour and a lunch for $80 per person. Overall, the whole property is pretty run down. The aviary is horrible as many pet shops are more impressive. Every body constantly asks for tips on the excursion as well. Glad I got to see some of the country and got s great meal, but these guys could put in more effort.

The port itself is beautiful. We tried to shop at the Craft tent where the locals were selling their items. Looked like the stores in the buildings were owned by non-jamacians. It is clearly a country that could use the revenue and we would prefer to help the native people.

Excellent stay, water was great and took excursion Reggae Hill, tour guide was great her name is Asha, and well informed but entertaining. only compliant was that they should have had more food, maybe Jamaican patty's. But love the tour and guide service.

Lots of shopping right in port. Don't have to leave the safe area.

The port is average; better if you are there to buy jewelry. There is a long bus ride to any activities. The activities are awesome. Jamaica has much to offer, but I heard that there are better ports.

If venturing out, make sure to negotiate a price for the cabs.

We took the trolley tour of Falmouth, which was a great experience. Folks at roadside stands are willing to negotiate, but prices at the Port seemed high.

We hired "Big Tony" for a four hour tour of the area. In addion to the usual stops we got to see both the richest and the poorest areas. He was very informative and answered all our questions. He also took us to a local restaurant for great jerk chicken at local prices.
