Folmouth is a nice port; especially compared to Montego Bay (which is horrible). Dunn River Falls is a must......take your camera and don't forget to tip your guide well as he's the one who saved you from falling - even though I did, but only once. Yikes! Oh, the water is COLD, too! :)

Visited the port area. Walked out beyond the fence into the main street. They were dirty and crowded. We were approached by many of the native people to buy trinkets and other unsavory items (if you like Bob Marley... wink... wink). About 2 blocks in, we turned the corner and found a little covered area with lots of tables where they served food and drink. I ordered a Red Stripe. It was my first experience, what a great tasting beer. We also ordered some Jerk fish and chicken. Really good. We asked our server were we could find a taxi our tour to the top of the mountains and the outlying area. She talked to the general manager of the restaurant who proceeded to take us on that "private" tour. He showed us some historical sites, drove us up the mountain where we could look back out over the waters, and also showed us some of the local industry.
