We are cruising in January 2024 with Royal. There is a group of ten of us (6 adults and 4 kids). We are looking for a free beach that doesn’t require a resort day pass but we wouldn’t mind paying for beach chairs if able to. What would you recommend?

Mr Sancho's has a free section but it fills up pretty quickly. you'll generally be expected to buy food and drink at the "free" beaches on the west side of the island. You might want to look at Chankanaab – Adult $21.00 USD / child$ 14.00 USD. It's not a sandy beach, but there's a lot to see and do.

Here are the best beaches for tourists in Cozumel; Playa de San Martin, Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, Playa Palancar, Playa Chen Rio, Chankanaab Beach, El Cielo, and Playa Mia Grand Beach.

skyreef beach club is free

Cozumel doesn’t have “free sandy beaches”. The public beaches don’t have facilities. I suggest you go someplace that has made a nice beach or do something. Cozumel is a great place to explore
