If he is a true "foodie", he likely won't be impressed at either place - the all-inclusive beach resorts are geared toward drinking frozen cocktails, not having award-winning meals.

We love paradise. have been there twice on trips to Cozumel. We also reserve the pool side bed. The servers are attentive, there's plenty to eat all inclusive and to drink both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Love the atmosphere of Nachi and the food is great!! The best guacamole I’ve ever had. Paradise is a little more lively and did love the taco truck! Nachi is better IMO.

I second playa Palancar

I'd say take the drive down to playa palancar. No entry fee and the food and drink is pay as want. it's a pretty location

paradise is the best... amazing pool and beach area.

Have done both in the past year. 100% go with Paradise. Nachi was quiet with a nice beach, but the food was mediocre and drinks were simply awful.

I’d suggest Buccanos if he’s a foodie! It’s north of the cruise ports, easy to get to by cab. Their food is more upscale than Paradise.

Nachi does not have a buffet or "all-you-can-eat" option to try multiple foods. If that's what he's looking for, try someplace else.

I loved Playa Mia. There were many options of great food at the buffet as well as an open bar.

I absolutely loved Paradise food selections. Very flavorful and amazing service.

don't forget you/he can Google the menus for these places. That might end up your deciding factor

Nachi Cocum limits menu items to one app, one entree, one dessert. I would recommend Paradise. Four and drink unlimited, service is excellent.

Look up Mr. Sanchos in Cozumel before you book paradise resort or nachi cocum beach. Trust me you won’t be sorry

Answered by Pockets07 on January 21, 2024

The food at Playa Mia was great.

.we always do nachi, think we will do paradise next time definitely not sanchos, too much craziness there. Great for teens and young adults who like it loud and boisterous.

I went to Paradise resort with a friend who didn't want to spend much on excursions. The place is a DUMP! The food was worse than a school cafeteria and the drinks were all pre-mixed in dispensers. VERY WATERED-DOWN! Much like Flavored water. Even Koolaide would have been an upgrade. Don't waste money on this place!
