Please don’t do the dolphin excursion. Those poor animals are trapped and kept in small enclosures. All for the almighty dollar. How would you feel if that were you?

We did a cooking class that served drinks and it was great fun. We always go eat tacos at our fav spot too. If you scuba dive it’s a great place to dive also.

The dolphin experience is good, and paradise is still good. Margaritaville is an American chain where you might as well be at Myrtle Beach and its insanely over priced. Mr Sancho was good for years but has slipped and frequent cruisers avoid it now.

The dolphin facility in Cozumel is one of 6 Certified Humane Conservation facility. The animals there are rescued. Just in case you had reservations about the ethics of that particular facility.

We did a 3 reef snorkel through Royal Caribbean. It does require some activity (swimming with life jacket, climbing boat ladder) but it was amazing and the guides were great if that’s something you might enjoy. Another place to hit (no walking required) is tequila a go go, restaurant right inside the port. Good tacos and great service.

Look for one of the air-conditioned tours of the city. They do stop at certain points for people to look around and shop, but you do not have to get off, and its usually a short stop.
