We booked an excursion on our own by contacting The Little French Key, they had some of the best reviews and provided us with free transportation to and from the port. The drive from the port was roughly 35 minutes (traffic and poor road maintenance slowed us down), then a short 5 minute ferry across to the island. We LOVED this destination. The folks on this island were so kind and hospitable, we bought an exotic leopard swim interaction package with full access to the island. Worth every penny. We had access to kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear and the animals on the island are majority rescues from the zoo. The food was good, drinks were good, and the facilities were clean.

Mahogany Bay via the Magic Chair is a must see! I would revisit Honduras just to experience Mahogany Bay again. We did the kayaking and swimming... lunch was awesome as well! Perfect Day!

Spent our day in port at Little French Key. Great service, beauty every where you look. Amazing blue water, tons to do. Highly recommended. Did not spend any time shopping in port.

The Magnolia Beach is fantastic!!!!! Forget the excursion and just hangout at the “free beach” it is arranged so beautifully.

Fantasy Island beach and snorkel was one of the best excursions have ever done. The reef was pristine and the beach private and beautiful. No vendors. Felt completely safe and comfortable there.

We hired a driver prior to the cruise & we told him where to go plus he recommended a few highlights! Saw the Monkey/Sloth zoo & botanical gardens!

We took a private excursions off ship Daniel Johnson Monkey & Sloth Hangout monkeys, sloth, chocolate factory, island tour, it was great. Then dropped off at the west end beach for almost 2 hours. Loungers $5 to rent massage for $10 and hair braiding offer. Shops cigars beer $1 must have change otherwise cc $10 minimal. Port area and most of the island is rundown and poverty is evident otherwise I would give it a 5 star.

This was my favorite port. We ziplined, played with sloths and monkeys and snorkeled.
