A: West Bay Beach is where we have been, and it was very nice!! If you look on “Viator”, you’ll see a couple excursions. One is a Day Pass to Paradise Beach (resort), another is to Infinity Bay Resort. If they seem too expensive, there is one called Be... ach Break excursion. Good luck!!See More

A: My wife loves that place. We buy the excursion on the ship, so they provide a boat over.

A: We were there last May. Good Things: Food, beach area, things to see.Bad things: Over price drink including sodas. And they will still encourage snorkeling even in bad conditions. The next time, I will seek something on the westside.

Q: Helloooooo There Everyone! My husband and I are first time cruisers and I was curious to know your opinions on if it's better/more economical to book an excursion or just hop in a cab and go to the place you choose? for instance...we definitely want to see/hold a Sloth 🦥 so in Roatan we know there is the opportunity... would it be smarter to book the excursion (although there are other places we are not interested in the tour stops at)or just take a cab from port to sloths, then a cab from sloths to beach and then back to port. thanks for any advice on this!Have a beautiful day

A: Try googling Shore Excursion Group. They have lots of trips the same as the cruise line, but cheaper. Also, they guarantee you'll be back to the ship on time.
Answered by LollyK on April 4, 2024
A: Hi. Not sure how much a cab would cost, but there are a few local tour companies that will let you plan your own day. You’ll get a price quote for your specific itinerary. (We have used Rony’s Tours). Or you can look up a specific animal encounter pl... ace, like Manawakie or Daniel Johnson’s, and they might quote you for transportation to get there and back (?).See More

A: Try Bodden Tours (BoddenTours.com). You can customize your own excursion. We have used them 4 times & it has been wonderful. They will pick you up at the port & very good with communications. Have a wonderful first cruise! 🛳️😎
Answered by PanamaDee on April 14, 2024
A: You can easily just get transportation on your own if that is all you want to do. Just be sure you negotiate price before and confirm whether it includes both people for that price. Take a picture of the cab license plate before going so they know y... ou can track them down if needed. Be cautious. Roatan does have some scammers. Also, you can negotiate once you get off the ship, fewer ships in port will need better price.See More

A: I have not, but I have used Bodden Tours in Roatan four or five times. You can plan your own tour on their website. If you have at least four people, you can get your own private van & tour guide. Very reasonable & dependable! One time Bodden Tou... rs contacted me to let me know that our ship had canceled their port, BEFORE the cruise line had notified me. Good communication and you do not pay until you get there. Have a great cruise! 🛳️😎See More

Answer QuestionA: Bodden Tours in Roatan are the best! You get to plan your whole day with the selects they have & make it what you want to do. They have a zoo with 🦥 sloths that you can hold & other animals. Zip line, snorkeling, 4-wheelers, tour the country, go... to a restaurant, (and so much more) whatever you decide. We have used them 4-5 times and always book with them when we go to Roatan. Go to Bodden tours.com. They are quick to reply & you do not pay until you arrive. And I get absolutely nothing for posting this commercial! 😂🤣See More
