Excellent island, a regular person could live here. Big enough to have all the stores and services a person would want. There is actually a middle class here with nice living standard. There are also several, secluded, but outstanding beaches--some of the best of the Caribbean.

Looks beautiful and interesting but the locals were not friendly as a whole, many were rude and some were hostile. The town was unkempt and run down. This is the only port that the people haven't been friendly and welcoming. Won't be going back.

Great walking town! No excursion, we walked on our own and bought a few things. Had lunch at the Royal Dutch Cheesery, quite good. Note that they list the food on your receipt in Dutch funds and only the total at the very bottom is USD. Be careful, as you could pay more if you don't pay attention.

We did the Sea Turtle and Snorkel excursion and being able to swim with the turtles was something we will not soon forget. Again our tour guide were so great about telling us the history and other facts about Curacao

This was my favorite port. I liked the shops. Mambo Beach was nice! But it did get quite crowded--there isn't much beach. The beer was nice and cheap near the buses.

We took a tour on Curacao with one of the many tour guides vying for our business. (As long as you take a tour that gets you back well before the ship leaves you should be fine with an island tour company. Some of our best tours have been non-ship excursions.) Curacao has the oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere. It has a dirt floor and is quite interesting. If you like history, it’s a must see. You can walk there from the ship. Curacoa also has a long bridge that rotates, which is quite neat.
