We visited Santa Barbara Golf and Beach Resort with our Resort for a Day pass. Transportation was included with purchase so no issue getting to or from. Not much beach access at this resort. No ocean access but nice beach area behind a man made breakwater on the cove leading to a marina.

So disappointed this was the only port you had a handicap accessible excursion. All 6 of us signed up for the distilliary excursion. All paid up front, got out to the pier and were then told my husband could not be acccomidated since he is confined to a wheelchair. It was frustrating since we booked through cruise line and it was advertised as handicap accessible. Plus side we were refunded quickly, and did enjoy some shopping at the port.

Our first time in port and probably will not get off the ship if we stop here again. We did the walking tour. The waterfront was nice but the side streets were crowded and dirty. We did eat at a waterfront restaurant where both the food and service were great. We also enjoyed the DJ.

Our planned excursion was canceled, and that was disappointing. We found another excursion, but we had to spend more money to do it since there were not many excursion options available with openings. It was a great excursion, but it was much more money than we initially intended to spend.

Although we did not go ashore on this trip, we did so on a previous cruise and enjoyed seeing this colorful island with a number of different things to see and do to suit almost everyone.

Shopping is across the bridge and shops near ship are okay. Not much to shop for.
