Very colorful and nice to walk around and shop, drink, and dine. We also booked an eco-tour which meant that we bounced around in the bed of a 4 wheel drive pickup truck as we toured the rugged north shore of the island--lots of waves crashing into the rocky coast and very scenic. Take the tour only if you don't have any have back issues

we went on a large tour bus of the island when we exited the ship which was $20 a person (total rip off) This was supposed to include a tour of the island and the a drop off at the beach for 2hrs. However when we arrived at the beach we were told we had to pay $3 per person, since when is there a fee to go to the beach. $3 is nothing but this is something that should have been told to us up front.

I loved how we stayed overnight. It gave us the chance to experience the port during day and night. On Day 1 we visited the Santa Barbara Beach Resort for the day and it was fantastic. Very relaxing and had some lovely food and drinks. They had a beautiful pool area and a really nice beach. We were there for about 5 hours and had a great time. Would recommend and most definitely would return. On Day 2, we walked around downtown Willemstad. The town itself is beautiful, safe and friendly.

My all time favorite port. We did the west beach tour with Irie tours. You get to see a cave, several beaches, cliff dive, swim with turtles, and see flamingos. Amazing!

My friends did an evening out excursion arranged through Carnival-had lots of fun and several bars in the area! We spend the day at Mambo Beach - so much fun! (via taxi -4 people $25-Reasonable!)

We just decided to walk around the town and do some shopping. Walked across the floating bridge and even went back out at night to take pictures. We got some great nighttime pictures of the town and the ship.

been here several times. didnt take tour this time. walked all around town. friendly people and just a great place to take a walk thru old fort and into town crossing the bridge that turns to let boats go by. real cool to see. we did take a tour one other time there. go thru fort and you will see an old school bus that looks like an old hippie bus with no windows. it looks like, hell no, but we went and it was great. bring swim suit cause they stop at awesome beach and gives you some beach and shopping time.
