Love Curacao. I wish we had a full day there. Enjoyed snorkel of Tugboat since we were allowed to go around the end beyond where there was some nice coral.

There are two main docking areas. If you are lucky you can enjoy a dramatic sail in/sail away as the ship encounters the narrowest and prettiest of harbour entrances; allowing you to converse with onlookers shoreside with the greatest of ease. Otherwise, you park-up at a more utilitarian pier just outside Willemstad's walled centre. The city is small but perfectly formed with the entry over the floating bridge an obvious highlight. Beaches within fifteen minutes of the pier side. Willemstad, Curacao is colourful, vibrant and very Dutch.

Too hot, too humid. Temperatures in the ship perfect! Perfect place for those who lay out in the sun, scuba or snorkel; or enjoy the bars. Loved the ship, didn't like the destination.

The taxi's charged a lot of money ($50+) to take you from the pier to local destinations (i.e., Curacao Liqueur Factory, Mambo beach, etc.) . We visited the Curacao Distillery and sampled their selections; the tour was okay. However, this port would not be at the top of my list to visit again.

Find the time to go to the Gouverneur and have a drink on the balcony overlooking the swinging old lady and frrry stop. I recommend the frozen lemonade.

Port was clean, and staff members were courteous and professional. We did have an excursion through the cruise-line. The excursion was worth the price and very educational.
