People on the island are very pushy and makes the shopping experience bad. The water is beautiful and the cab drivers are great

Again, not enough time in this port to visit the French side and the Dutch side. Really wanted to see the beaches on the French side but by the time we shopped at a few places on the Dutch side it was time to return to the ship.

A little disappointed with Phillipsburg. First time we were here, we had to be tendered in, and I remember this beautiful, dutch, waterfront town. Now that the dock has been built, the town looks trashy and dirty to us. The new port is lovely, but I wish an effort would be put into keeping downtown Phillipsburg cleaned up.

Felt nothing but pity for natives who have to put up with the narrow pot-holed roads and the squalor of living conditions we witnessed as we drove around. Thought French St.Marten was supposed to be unsurpassed in beauty, but was terribly disappointed.
