We did the race around St Maarten. It was fun!! The tour group that ran the race were so nice! I wish we got to see more of the island.

We took the water taxi to Philipsburg and walked around town. There are a number of new shops since we were last there

This port was very hyped up by all the shopper people on board. We decided to take a tour instead since it was our first visit. Linked up with 5 other people to make a group of eight and the round-the-island tour ended up costing us $25/pp. The tour was so-so; the driver's english was poor (he was from Haiti), and it was quite remarkable how devastated the island still is even 2 years after Irma. The French side in particular was quite behind in the rebuild. Downtown Margot didn't impress. We were dropped off in downtown Philipsburg, and spent a bit of time on the nice beach there before heading back to the ship.

Absolutely beautiful island and excursion to Kim Sha beach. Excellent lunch and drinks provided. Highly recommend!

Yes, we took an unusual and wonderful excursion from Dream Vacations that included a Rum factory, lunch, and time on the legendary beach at the end of St. Maarten's runway.

They have made a new dock, most of it is not open yet. Should be very nice by next year.
