very disappointed in the accessible island tour. It was $80/pp with no lunch. just rode around in a bus that had 8 seats but there were 10 people attending. My two teen-aged daughters took turns sitting on the floor of the bus since no other seats were available. $80pp was not appropriate value, didn't even include lunch, should have been priced at about half that for the value. Also the take-away from the tour guide was they lost everything and you could see that - it was nearly all demolished, very sad.

Apparently the French side is throwing major roadblocks to rebuilding. We visited places on the French side last year that were packed. This year - ghost town. The beach cafe on Orient Bay where we had lunch last year - wiped off the face of the Earth. Our guide told us about how a Spanish hotel company brought in 160 workers to rebuild its property on the French side, because there were no locals who were available and/or who had the necessary skills. The government deported them. He said there is money available to rebuild, and the government is preventing people from rebuilding. People are unable to make a living due to government inaction. Shameful. The Dutch side is much better, its functional and there are signs of life.

We spent an unforgettable day on this beautiful island but I was surprised to see that in Maho Beach there is no sand only stones but we still enjoyed the day the water was crystal clear and fresh for the area of the hotels is intact

Very interesting island. Plenty of devastation remains from 2017 Hurricane Irma. Homes and hotels still being rebuilt. Maho Beach was interesting—watching the planes take off land just yards away.

Saint Martin was absolutely gorgeous. I just don’t think that the ship gives enough time to hang out on the porch. It’s very disappointing I would’ve like to stay here a lot longer
