Overall, our favorite island! The water was a little rougher than St. Thomas but it was so beautiful! We had a lot of fun here! There are so many places to shop and eat. The only thing i regret is that we didn't have more time on the island! I would have loved to explore the French side of the island as well. We will definately go back to this island for an extended vacation.

We went to Orient Beach, Dutch Side Had an island tour with a cab driver. Very nice guy. Did some shopping. Got some Bamboo Sheets shipped home. picked up some Guava Berry liquor.

Okay, I hate to give this tip because it will be like letting the cat out of the bag. Here goes: Rent a jeep for a nominal fee and drive to Cul de Sac. A ferry will take you to Pinel Island where for a small fee you can rent chairs & umbrella & enjoy your day on a remote private island. There is even a great outdoor restaurant and boutique! We spent 4 hours there and it felt like one!

This is our favorite port. However will never be on a cruise on Good Friday again. It is a major holiday in the caribbean. EVERYTHING is closed. Beautiful island.
