Lovely port. We shared a cab and went to palm beach.there is a charge for the chairs and umbrellas , but price is negotiable . We did not book an excursion due to getting there at 2pm and leaving at 8.

This port was amazing. We grabbed a spot on the hop on hop off bus that took us all over the island.

We love to snorkel and the excursion to the Antilles ship wreck was wonderful. The water was so clear! We are experienced snorkelers and scuba divers but some in the group had trouble with the current and waves. We were just sorry we didn't book the scuba tour of the wreck. Again after our excursion we went back to the ship due to the heat but I would love to explore this port further.

Purchased a Shore Excursion on board ($39.98 for the 2 of us! for roundtrip transportation to a nearby (Eagle) beach that included a brief (3 minute) tour of the Hi-Rise hotel area during the bus U-turn to get to the beach. Eagle beach is beautiful powder sand straight down into the water as far as you can touch bottom! Expensive lounge/umbrella at $45!!! Suck it up, you want to be comfortable and you need the umbrella - it's hot if the sun is out and it's shelter if you get one of those 10 minute rain showers!

We simply got off the ship and booked a bus tour to see the island and visit a beach. Half the price of ship's excursions. Tour was right there at the port.

This port has lots of shopping and a nice strip you can walk down. We ended up doing a tour by one of the buses right when you get off the ship. We tried coffee roasters of Aruba - 8/10. Our tour was AMAZING. We were in an open bus. Our stops included at a local grocery store, Casibari Boulders site, an aloe farm, Santa Cruz desert/ocean, the lighthouse and then we needed up on eagle beach for 1 hour. 10/10 beach. Clear blue waters, calm waves, soft sand, great people. Our whole tour and beach drop off/pickup only costed us $25 each. Our favorite port of this trip!

Love this island every time we go there! Great snorkeling and awesome Butterfly Farm. We took the public bus ($3 each) to Butterfly Farm (bus driver was very helpful letting us know our stop). It cost $16 each to get inside. This is by far the best Butterfly Conservatory that I have been in- so many iridescent colorful butterflies. If we had done this tour from cruiseline it would have cost $65 per person. We felt safe on the bus. Totally recommend!
