From the pier, there is a trolley that travels in loop around Downtown. It is a free service. When the cruiseship arrive in late May, many places are quiet. There is no need to wait at restaurants or shops.

BEAUTIFUL! Aruba was our beach day. No excursion planned so we just started walking, turns out we were walking in the wrong direction ha ha! Found some cool lizards though. Got a taxi cab and she directed us to Palm Beach. The water was AMAZING. the sand was AMAZING. We went to the restaurant on the pier and the food was really good.

This was my 3rd time to Aruba and this was another amazing visit. The ship was there from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM and we stayed until around 4:30. We did a snorkel and sailing excursion called the "Jolly Pirate", which I highly recommend. We stopped at 3 different spots to snorkel and swim and got to jump off the ship and do the rope swing. They provided lunch and drinks and the ship turned into a party atmosphere on the way back, it was a great time. We booked this on our own as it's not offered through Royal Caribbean. We then spent a few hours hanging out at Moomba Beach after we got done with the excursion. Overall, a great experience!

We visited 4 ports. This was our favorite. Took the island tour. Very nice and informative. The west side of the island is loaded with very nice condos, hotels and resorts. Beautiful blue water on the west side. Appears to be good for snorkeling. Water appears very calm on the west side. Nice island!

Most commercialized and populated of the stops. Rented a car and explored. Swimming with sea turtles literally feet off the beach at Baby Beach was the highlight of the day!

We loved Aruba!!! We can’t wait to go back next year!!! There was only 1 other ship in port that day so we were lucky that it wasn’t very crowded inside the port. We didn’t book any excursions and decided we wanted to go to the beach instead. Taxi’s were $15 each way (not per person) and held 4-5 people. There were only 2 of us and at the time we got off the ship we couldn’t find anyone to share a taxi with, so we decided the better option for us was to take the local bus, which was $5 per person round trip. The bus stop was right outside the port, across the street. Buses run about every 20 mins or so and everyone was so helpful and nice. We went to Eagle Beach for the day which was about 15 mins from the port and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The beach is huge and even though there were a lot of people there it didn’t feel that way because the beach is so big!! The water was warm and so clear, we spent so much time in the water!! I highly recommend this if you are not interested in doing an excursion and just wanna relax!! They did have jet ski rentals and other things available at the beach, but we did not partake.
