WINDY! The beach, powdered sugar sand and sunshine were wonderful - but the wind was relentless. We went to Palm Beach (took the bus for $5US round trip). Get off by the Hilton and walk through their lobby. You have to purchase a beach chair and umbrella as it is not a private beach. Eagle Beach looked nice as well - no hotels. I've wanted to visit Aruba for a while now - I was not aware of the wind. Without the wind it would have been far too hot to do anything.... but it was really windy.

Aruba was great, beautiful day in a beautiful place. We chose to adventure through the city instead of doing an excursion. We saw a lot of the city and met some really friendly people. Met a couple of police officers there who were extremely friendly, and promised to look me up if they ever come to Texas.

My favorite excursion so far in all my 5 cruises. We did the UTV to Natural Pool and Arikok Nat Park. We booked thru Carinal, but the tour is operated by Fofoti tours and transfers. Julissa, Dolpi and Milton are so awesome! The water was rough so we could not get in at the natural pool, but they gave us a longer ride and still stopped at a local spot to get in the water. BEAUTIFUL views and so much fun!

I am a lighthouse fan so I didn't want to miss seeing the California Lighthouse. Although the lighthouse was not opened when I visited, I could see great views from the base.

Looking for good burgers in Aruba, eat at Iguanas Joe's. The burgers are good there.

On a previous tour of Aruba, i visited the California Lighthouse, then the Natural Bridge and later the Casibari Rock Formation. Finally we stopped at the Ostrich Farm where I fed the ostriches - great photo opportunity

Aruba is beautiful even in the rain! Eagle beach is amazing and is a must go. We got a taxi over to there but it was not very far away. Aruba also has great shopping.

We took the kuku Kanuku (sp) tour. There were so many people we had 3 buses. We cruised in May and had no idea the day we arrived was their Labor Day so a lot of the island was "closed". Our tour still was able to sightsee most of your touristy attractions and ended up at Mambo Beach. Our driver had moraccas and was super fun. We will definitely be taking this tour again when we go back
