Not much to see or do at the port. Can walk into the city, or grab one of the taxi drivers for a 3 hour tour of martinique for 30pp. Scenery is beautiful. Must visit the Rhum factory!

Just went to the beach, but found the two beaches available did not meet the normal Caribbean standards I've experienced else where. The sand was hard pack, not soft and white. The water temperatures were good, but clarity was very poor.

Very different Caribbean island compare to others. Went on Discover Martinique shore excursion. French style living. Nice houses build everywhere. Clean and good roads to travel. Did not visit beach, but enjoyed walking on land all day.

The ship decided to port here on New Years Day. EVERY single store/restaurant was closed. There was nothing to see or look at and there was no beach that was easily accessible (able to walk to) by the port. We got off for 10 minutes and went back on the ship. Looked like it would have been a great island if stores had been open.
