I was thrilled when I learned from Royal Caribbean we shall be visiting here instead of Dominica, as this had been an island I'd always wanted to visit and I wasn't disappointed. Upon leaving the ship after breakfast, my friend and I, along with a couple we'd met on board, found a taxi driver (who spoke great English) who would take us on a tour. This was wonderful and we saw many places of interest. We got back in time to see a small part of the town itself, but hopefully we'll come back another time to see more of this beautiful island, which luckily escaped the hurricane when it changed course.

Nice bus tour of south end of island. Two hours on long, calm beach next to Club Med was very relaxing.
