Visited Reduit beach. Wasn’t able to go in the water the waves were hugh and the water very rough other cruisers went in but I can’t swim and it seems dangerous just watching them being toss around by the wave. Relax on the beach enjoy a few bottles of Piton the local beer, coconut water and much a the beach club.

I’ve been to 18 Caribbean islands and St Lucia is not one of my favorites. This was my second time here so we tried a different beach. We went to pegion island which is right next to Sandals. Weather was beautiful but beach is small and sand isn’t soft. People were not the nicest. Very pushy when you get off the ship. Had lots of shops near the port.

We did the Rainforest Canopy Tour - it was breathtaking! I would do this again in a heartbeat! The breeze was cool and refreshing, our guide knowledgeable, and the tour peaceful (except for the occasional holler from the zipline tour).

Purchased an all inclusive excursion to the Bay Gardens Beach Resort in Rodney Bay/Reduit Beach from Resort For A Day for $95 per person. We have vacationed here previously and knew exactly what to expect so did not hesitate to spend the money for this glorious day. Aside from the fact the property is beautiful and not overwhelming, is sitting directly on the beautiful sheltered bay beach with lounges, palms, umbrellas and also has a pool with a hot tub/jacuzzi as an island in the middle of the pool with direct eye sight to the bar the 'excursion' also included a delicious lunch at their covered/open air beach restaurant (off of their regular extensive menu!), FOUR (4) drinks (alcoholic included - delicious pina-colladas!!) and a 20 minute back massage in their on-site spa!!! Heaven!

Every island on this cruise has its own distinct personality and St. Lucia's is its lush greenery. No trip to St. Lucia is complete without seeing the Pitons, which means you're going to have to do an excursion, because they're a good 60-90 minute drive from the port. Because there is so much to see, I recommend the excursion we've done twice now -- the Land and Sea Combo to Soufriere. It's a bus ride through a rainforest, a banana plantation, a fishing village and botanical garden before boarding a catamaran for the ride back to the ship. There is a stop for swimming along the way. Lunch and plenty of rum punch are also included in the price

We took an excursion to the rainforest, used the aerial tram for the tour. We did not book through Carnival, the price difference from booking in port at the visitors center saved us about $20. This was a really nice adventure, the tour guide was wonderful and very informative. The ride lasted about 45 minutes and then there was an optional 15-20 minute hike which we took for a more close-up look at the rainforest floor. This was a really nice enjoyable excursion.
