There is nothing in port so we took a taxi to the nearby beach for 5 dollar each way per person. We paid 20 dollars each at the Harbour Inn for sunbed and turtle snorkeling trip which was great. You dont go out on the boat very far and you could swim it but you cant due to boat traffic. The Friday night market near port is not big but nice to have a walk off ship of an evening.

We did not want to book an excursion in Barbados and rather do our own thing, but that wasn't possible due to country restrictions. Consequently, we did the Beach Island Hop tour which was ok. The bus driver was great. The people attending the restrooms were VERY rude. The beaches were ok, but again living in FL we weren't all that impressed.

We did a ship excursion because the said we had to because of Covid. But when we got there it was wide open. The beach we went to was pretty but I would have rather gone to a better, less crowded beach. Also we had to be back on the ship at 4pm... Way to short for all the things to do on Barbados.

We took the Flavor of Barbados tour. The Rum distillery was alright (but VERY smelly), the plantation house was beautiful, but the mohagony carver was a waste of time. His work could be purchased at nearly any store in town and we were basically brought there to buy his work. Also, the tour guide was a bit rude and didn't offer nearly as much additional information about the island as other guides have.
