I was a little bummed as the bigest attraction (my family is from here and I spent summers there as a kid) was closed. When it reopens I would reccomend Harisson's Cave.

You can miss Pigeon Island. The two beaches are extremly small (no more than 20 people can fit on them) and rocky. However, the old military ruins and park area make for good hiking. Facilities are run down/poor.

“Complimentary shuttle” cost $2 each way. There was a nice walkway and historic area by the main town.
