What’s not to love about Bonaire 🇧🇶. This is one of our favorite islands. It’s not touristy, it’s a laidback little island that loves everybody. We always rent a golf cart here from Bonaire Cart Rentals. This is not through Princess. These people are lovely to work with and are very honest. The cart rentLs are 95.00 US per day with a 100.00 US deposit that you get back when you return your cart. They give you a map and your off on your own to tour the island at your own pace. This is something you need to book extremely early as the sell out very quickly. They have 2 and 4 seater carts available. They take cash or 💳 T

We walked to Divi Flamingo Resort. (About 10 minutes). We paid $10 each and got a beach umbrella and chairs on one of the piers. It also included free wifi and use of a pool. We went snorkeling off the pier. Some of the best beach snorkeling we've done. Lots of fish!

Amazing. My favorite port, hands down. The water was so clear, we could literally see fish swimming from up on the 17th deck of the ship. We walked around, did some shopping, and just spent the rest of the day walking along the water looking at the fish and corals. Perfect weather, friendly people. Next time, we will definitely take a water taxi to Klein Bonaire and do some snorkeling. I can’t say enough about this place, we just loved it.

We hired two Golf Buggys for the day and drove the whole island on our own, we seen lizatds, flamingos, gpats and beautiful shore line. There were opportunities to swim if we wanted to. We drove passed slave houses and salt mines. It was the best day ever and only cost about $95 all in.

We loved it! Purposely didn’t plan anything as this was our last port, decided to tour the island with Roadrunner Bonaire (not with the cruise lines) & they didn’t disappoint! It was a little over a 3 hour tri-ped motorcycle ride across the island from one side to the other with several stops along the way for sightseeing & history!

We’ve loved both our trips to Bonaire. This time we booked a snorkeling excursion through carnival. All the early times were already full so we took the last time slot, I think it left at 4:00. Wow was this the time to choose. The snorkeling spot was empty, so we weren’t crowded. The sun started going down as we finished the snorkel so we had a beautiful sunset cruise on the way back to port as we enjoyed a lovely local dinner and open bar. They played music and couples slowed danced on the top deck as we watched the sun drop below the horizon. It was truly magical. The crew was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. The only negative thing I could say is that getting in and out of the water can be difficult since you have to climb a ladder that’s straight up so you can’t put your fins on until you’re in the water and you have to take them off before trying to climb back onboard. If you have mobility issues, you might have an issue with this. If we go back, I will be booking this excursion at the same time again.

No excursion required for this super small island. You can rent a golf cart or take a sea taxi easily and save lots of Money. We too the sea taxi to Kkein Bonaire which is a Gilligan's island great for snorkeling. The best we had of all 3 islands. Just note that there are no bathrooms, restaurant or bar. So bring your own. You would only spend a few hours here at most. We then sea taxi back to town, had time for lunch and shower on the ship and headed back yo take a walk for shipping and gelatto. This was my favorite island as it's still relaxing and not overbuilt touristy.
