Can’t say enough this is the beat island I have been to next to Hawaii. Loved it and want to go back. Took a taxie to the Caramboli Beach club great, clean place had a bar and restaurant, service was bad and very slow. Rented beach chairs and umbrella highly recommend this blac. Didn’t have enough time for this island.

This was our favorite stop! Instead of doing an excursion with NCL, we got off the boat and there were plenty of independent tours to choose from. We took a city/beach tour, and it was a blast. Got to see parts of the island both good and bad. Before driving through a rain forest, we stopped for some Rum Punch, included in the tour, a special recipe made by our driver. We all had a couple of those and the sing-along commenced! Stopped at the beach and had some conch chowder and conch bisque. My wife and I shared both, and Oh MY were they good!!! This was another tour that I wish could've lasted a couple hours longer. In an area near the dock was a market, and an area with many many street food vendors. We visited in January 2024 on Celebrity. We took the excursion to the rum plantation and it was quite interesting. They provided a lot of island history along with history of the area and information on rum making, the rum trade and how it played into the history. Enjoyed the port area- stopped and. Had a beer and watched some local dancers. Very enjoyable stop.
