We shopped and saw the port area and were bombarded with locals who charged you to take photos with their little monkeys! So beware! They are quick and don’t take good photos and charge $$$. We went to Nevis via catamaran tour and spent the day at Pinney Beach and loved it. Had lunch there too as we had a beach server! Beer, food, rum, water etc! Do walk over to Sunshine’s bar and have their famous Killer Bee drink!!

We used Big Banana Safari Tours -- paid $20pp and it included Rum and Water refreshments. A great way to see the island very cheaply. You can see them once through the port. Much cheaper than Carnival tour.

Only saw port area, it was pouring at this port so we went shopping for souvenirs and ate at the food court. Found good deals on jewelry and knick knacks

We have been to St Kitts before, and loved going back. We did the "Train Ride" Excursion. It was great. Rain hard, but hey, we were on vacation. And being wet was not big deal. Our guide on the train was wonderful .

No excursions but did walk around the city. Nice people, friendly and they are doing a good job of making this a nice destination. Fun watching the school children playing in their various school uniforms. If you like monkeys, this place is for you but if you want to have your picture taken with a monkey, expect to pay $10 each (that was the only thing quirky about the place).

Out of the 4 ports we stopped at this was one of my least favorite! The locals trying to sell excursions were pushy and kept following you around trying to get you to buy! The monkey guys would try and put the monkies on you so you can get pictures and play and then they wouldn't let you leave til you paid then 10$. Everytime we walked into a store a worker would follow us around! We did eat at "the grill" in the food court and it was good! As we did not do an excursion, maybe planning to do one wouldn't be so bad here!! Next time we will plan one!

We did not do an excursion at this port. We toured the town on our own and enjoyed looking around. St. Kitts was beautiful. But just as in port town, the locals will wear you out with trying to get you to take a taxi here or there, buy something, braid your hair, etc. But it's all good and we like to interact with them a bit.
