We did take a semi private tour. We learned a lot about the Island, its history, people and the guide shared her experiences growing up there and of her personal history and grandparents who were slaves on the island. It was wonderful, moving and very educational. If you get to St Kitts, look her up her name is Beulah Mills, she also has been highly recommended by TripAdvisor.com with 5stars. We totally agree (she is also very reasonably priced)

Loved this port! We did a resort for a day to OTI. We had the place to ourselves! Great pool, with a wonderful view. We got a free welcome drink and our bartender, Steadroy, was great. Our cab driver took us to see the atlantic and Caribbean view and back to the cruise port for shopping. This is a great port for shopping. Great quality items for a very good price. Ready to go back!

The island is very pretty. Our excursion started late so we walked around the shops right when you get off into port. Just to warn you there are monkeys everywhere. Men and women trying to get you to take pictures with them, they’re so cute and irresistible but this will cost you a fortune!! The mountains were quite scary driving up and down and through to get to our beach for the excursion we signed up for. We had a good day though.

Contacted Reggae Beach Bar for shuttle... ask for Liz. They picked us up at the port, made a quick stop for photo opp at Tom Hill (where the Atlantic meets the Caribbean Sea). Next stop Reggae Beach Bar. Nice beach, friendly wait staff. Chairs and umbrellas available for rent. Buckets of beer kept ice cold. Looking for a massage? Ask for Teresa. Shuttle back to port in time to get back on the ship.

Loved it. Taxi from port to Ship Wreck Bar, turned out to be an open air taxi that was a great ride! Great beach bar down from Carabola Beach Club. $3 local beers, $10 snorkel gear (with fins) great reef off beach-lots of sea urchins (I saw 5 while snorkeling) so wear shoes and don't touch urchins! Friendly service, cab driver came back and picked us up at 3pm! Had a wonderful day!
