Review summary

This is my 8th cruise and I knew when I did my research the ship would be smaller than I was use to.  However, the 5 ports we would visit far outweighed the smaller size ship.  I was a bit disappointed when we couldn't get a set dining assignment for 6 pm, but we did the anytime dining and came at 6 each evening and were able to get the same staff.  The entertainment actually ended up being fine. After seeing a show that left a lot to be desired, we focused on the comedians, Ivy, and the piano bar singer. All were really really good.  I would say the staff were exceptional as well with super attentive cabin stewards. Since there are no refrigerators, they ensured we had ice in our room at all times.  Things to know about the ship is that everything is smaller and it is a bit more rocky. We did hit some wild waves which were rocky at night but no one ever felt sick.  We all enjoyed the shopping on ship, the grill, and the omelette bar.

We loved our cabin and had 2 portholes. There was great room for my sister and I. You need to make sure you ask for a blow dryer as they do not come in the room

Ship tip

Go up on the track and walk around coming into port. You will see beautiful sunrises and get great pics.

Sapphire beach is lovely and not so crowded as Coki. They just started up amenities like rentals, food and drinks so give it a whirl

you need to go to the Volcano and see the mud baths. i would advise taking a boat around the island to get there as on land takes forever
