Had a great time in St Thomas. My initial excursion got canceled and the shore excursion team on board recommended Snorkeling at XMas Cove. Beautiful place. Saw a lot of fish, a spotted eagle ray and a turtle. Highly recommend.

Port area is very nice, lots of iguanas there too for photos. I did the Royal Caribbean Discover Diving excursion which was EPIC. This was my first time diving and was a bit nervous but I never once felt unsafe and all instructions were given clearly. The waters are very pretty and we dove right off an avian sanctuary island. Got to see a sea turtle having lunch just two feet from me which was neat, plenty of fish and coral around the ship wreck we dove at as well. I highly recommend this for anybody who wants to try diving for the first time. (NOTE: If you want to shop the diving trip got back to ship about 20 minutes before early dinner time so keep that in mind)

We did our own thing in St. Thomas. We have been there at least 5 times. We get a taxi and head to Mountain Top. We get their famous banana daiquiris with extra rum and then taking e the taxi to Megan's Bay beach and hang there for a few hours. Then we take taxi back to the city to shop at Alpha Jewelers...our go to for diamonds and other great pieces of jewelry. Sammy and his wife weren't there this time, but Henry and the rest of the staff treated us very well. My 2 friends and I bought some lovely pieces of jewelry.

We love docking at WICO because it's so close to so much. We walked to the Sky Ride and took that up to Paradise Point. Beautiful views.

You don't need to take an excursion. Walk out of the port and follow the road to the left. This will take you around the edge of the harbour to the town (about 20 mins walk). There are some lovely views along the harbour. Remember to take a raincoat as it always seems to rain when we go! Also, pay attention to some of the yachts in port. Google the yacht names...there are usually some owned by famous names.

I love the views in St Thomas, take the sky lift to top of mountain and have lunch and a few drinks. Shopping within 10 min walk from ship
