We did the Turtle Cove Snorkel excursion and it was great but very long walk to the catamaran, at least 3 blocks away! No ppl using walkers were allowed as no storage for them on the vessel. They make very very strong rum punch! Beware they cover the boose with sweet punch!

Both Charlotte Amalie and Philipsburg were slammed by hurricanes in 2017 and are still in the process of recovering (which by some estimates could take many years). What has not changed is the positive attitude of the people who live there. Though the site of so much devastation made us sad, we found the people to be inspirational and resilient. We took the panoramic tour of the St. Thomas and saw some spectacular scenery from Mountain Top (where you can also get the Worlds Best Banana Dacquri) and a view of Magens Beach, said to be one of the top Ten Beaches in the world.

We did the 5 star Island Tours. Not much of an island tour. Spend most of the time on the beach or in town on our own. Loved the island and the people. Had a fun time shopping and talking to the locals.
