We loved it! We got out there early and found chairs in front of the beach in chill island. We had people bringing us drinks all day and had 4 chairs with umbrellas. The water was warm but it did get a little breezy. The food is FANTASTIC and there are plenty of bars. The shopping is priced really high which was a little disappointing. But the beach is beautiful and soft and we saw stingrays swimming right up to us. We didnt purchase anything extra and used snorkel gear and vests for free.

We had the best time!!! The island was beautiful! Tons of chairs all around the beach! We started the day with the Snorkel and Sandbar getaway that was absolutely great! A boat took us over to a rock that had a beautiful reef, then we went to a sandbar and had drinks and relaxed! We saw stingrays and tons of sea life! We then went back to the island and had lunch, they had everything from sandwiches and burgers to steak, chicken, and pork carnitas for tacos! The lunch area was beautiful! There were bars everywhere, had no problem getting drinks. There was a fun floating bar in the other side of the island. There were little buildings for shopping near the entrance. The pool was HUGE and beautiful! There was so much available to do I can’t believe there will be a water park open soon, we wouldn’t have had time!

Wow, wow, and wow. This is one of the best private islands I ever been to. From having a water parks for kids while relaxing for adults. Great balance.

The changes RC is making are terrific! If you want to swim in the ocean or lay on the beach, you can! If you want to swim in or lay by the resort-style pool, you can do that too! Once the island is complete, you can relax away from everything on the far side, or be in the middle of it all...There will be something for everyone!

Cococay is truly paradise. It has a brighter, more colorful, easier to navigate feel to it than the last time we visited. The waterpark and ongoing construction did not interfere with our desire for quiet relaxation, as there is a place for everyone and their preferences. A tram can take you from the ship all the way to Cococay's entrance or you can choose to walk. Once inside Cococay, another tram can take you around the island, stopping at the Up Up and Away Balloon, South Beach, Oasis Lagoon, and Chill Island. You can easily walk to these locations as well. For a quick way to reach Chill Island, turn left upon entering Cococay and cross the bridge. You're there in less than 5 minutes! Chill Island is where we spent most of our time. It was sunny, clean, and not at all crowded. Aside from the music playing around the island, it had a quiet, peaceful feel. There were ample beach chairs, umbrellas, and tables available throughout the entire day and we never had anyone directly next to us. It was great! The water was calmer in some areas than others, especially due to high winds, but it was easy to find a space with gentle waters. The water was a bit cloudy in some areas, and I swam away from at least 4 moon jellyfish, but I still enjoyed every second in that perfect water! The bartenders were friendly and fast and the drinks were amazing. Try a Coco Loco if you haven't already! We spent our time lounging in Chill Island, then walked back to Mariner early to enjoy the empty ship. I had a beautiful day at Cococay

We had to wait for the gangway to reopen. The waves were so high/rough that it was unsafe to cross the gangway. The water also washed over the walkway, making it unsafe to walk. Once they restarted the process of allowing people off the ship (or back on) it was very unorganized and very long. The line went from the gangway deck up to deck 6 or 7. No staff was there to safely and properly direct traffic.

Was an absolute Perfect Day! We had 11 in our group & rented 2 cabanas on Chill Island. Each cabana included 4 sunning chairs, 2 sitting chairs & a sofa in the cabana. It also included 2 floating rafts & 2 snorkel sets & each cabana had someone from the staff designated to wait on us. Our servers Silver & Shauntae were awesome!! They were super friendly, very helpful & kept the food & drinks coming all day long. We wish we had 2 full days here!

CoCo Kay was awesome! No additional money required if you want to just enjoy the beach WITH chairs and Umbrellas. From ship take LEFT over bridge and head to “Chill Island” drink service available. Food was delicious on island as well.
