The Norwegian staff took care of mr and my wife very well. My wife loved the massage by the beach.

Beautiful island; however some of the people working on the island are not friendly or helpful. Took 4 hours for our tender group to be called to get to the island.

Since it’s owned by Norwegian, I didn’t expect much. We signed up for parasailing at 12:15 and it got canceled. So we did the party boat/snorkel. The people were funny and it was a fun time.

Not much to do but lay on the beach and swim. It was pretty rough seas when we went, which sucked for the snorkeling excursion we had purchased. Some people missed their excursions completely because tendering was so time-consuming due to the conditions. The water was too murky with all the sand being kicked up so we literally saw nothing while struggling in the waves. The water is very rocky also, so be sure to wear water shoes or sandals. The shopping was okay. You had to really search for anything worthwhile that didn't cost an arm and a leg. We walked away with a few small pieces of shell and coconut jewelry and some keychains. The prices were all over the place. Better than the pushy vendors in Jamaica, but definitely nowhere near as great as Grand Cayman for shopping. The Bahamas in general are beautiful and I appreciated the drinks and food being free. All in all this was a good port for a lazy day I guess.

My 2nd favorite stop after Key West. NCL's private island doesn't have as much to do as some of the other cruise line islands, but I wasn't really looking to do much. I got a great spot on the beach and spent the day relaxing and swimming. Even with two ships there, the island had enough space for everyone. A buffet lunch was provided, which was actually better than the buffet on the ship. The pizza was really good and the rum cake at the dessert bar was delicious. They do have a zip line, which I saw people using (costs extra), and there are excursions available on the island, as well as a small shopping area with stuff like t-shirts and the usual tourist shop type items.

Once again, tenders VERY challenging for mobility impaired. BE ADVISED - info printed for island says there are paved walkways....well, there are some near the cabanas, but otherwise YOU WILL NEED TO BORROW ONE OF THE SAND WHEELCHAIRS. Most pathways are sand covered. It was impossible to push a conventional wheelchair from the moment we got off the tender. Frankly, I don't know how those with strollers even managed. Cabanas are a must for mobility impaired - there really isn't anything else to do - beaches are on a grade. They are beautiful and the ship's personnel work on the island to maintain the quality of service. I wish someone had given me the straight scoop before on this port.
