The outskirts of Freeport are very touristy, but we took the gardens tour which was absolutely beautiful. We also spent time in the marketplace. We were able to learn about the people and the culture Freeport during our for our tour. It was a very good experience.

Had an amazing time during the dolphin encounter...the bus driver gave us a lot of knowledge about the island on our ride to see the dolphins.. I highly recommend the dolphin encounter as we were able to take photos and video

We were here at the end of August 2018. We booked a day pass at the Freeport Grand Lucayan Lighthouse Point Resort through shoreexcursioner.com. The water and beach were gorgeous. Everyone we encountered were friendly and welcoming. My family of 4 had a wonderful day!

Not a thing to see or do here so book an excursion. I HIGHLY suggest swimming with dolphins 🐬 It was easily one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten to do 👍🏻

When my fiancé and I went to Freeport we enjoyed it. We rented a Jeep and rode around the island. We went enjoyed walking a trail and going to a nice little beach.

This is one port that if you don’t book an excursion you’ll be board. We found a tour guide to take us to Taino beach it’s five to get in plus cost of transportation. It’s clean and beautiful water.

If you like to shop...this is the place to go. Not too much to do in Freeport, unless you do beach/water excursions (we had enough beach in Grand Turk/Half Moon Cay). I never do any excursions when I come to Freeport. I just SHOP...and they have plenty of shopping tents/huts/stores for you to wander through. I was on a mission for my Tortuga Rum cakes, a Bob Marley t-shirt and some other little trinkets to give as gifts . We ate at one of the little food booths (Robinson’s Seafood Delight -Booth#2)...I had some fried rainbow grouper) and it was delicious!!! I give it 5 stars because it’s a good shopping spot and ended our trip on a good note.

We enjoyed this stop, we did a day pass at Grand Lucayan and it was wonderful! Beautiful beach and not crowded. We went to the shops at Port Lucayan and enjoyed shopping. It was very easy to to get a taxi at port off the ship. The ride to Lucayan is about 20 minutes. We stopped at Senor Frogs at the port before getting back on the ship for drinks and a snack.
