The view here is not good. The taxi seems not clean and safe.

Good beacg at Port Lacaya. You have to take a cab to anything worthwhile....shore excursions were twice as expensve as getting you own cab. Shopping and such was crumby. JUst go to the beach at the Port and chill.

This is only a shopping experience and not enough time to do anything else. Bahamians were not friendly.

Did Pirates Cove beach. Had to get up early, but best beach! Was pretty windy, but beach was beautiful and the kids enjoyed playing in the waves. Did package without food and drink, they did have things to buy if you want them. Bus ride was nice, was able to learn about the island. Got back to port in time to spend 45 minutes shopping before getting g back on the ship.

There isn't much to do in port. We rented a car and drove to Gold Rock Beach (25 miles away) which was beautiful. Driving is difficult though because driving is on the left side of the road with steering wheel in the right side. We enjoyed the beach but given our early departure time (3:00 p.m.) we weren't able to get the full benefit of the rental car and beach time. If we ever went back to Freeport (which I would not want to do) I don't think I would bother leaving the ship.

Really enjoyed freeport as it was my first time out of the United States and first experience in the Caribbean! Took air conditioned bus tour and learned alot of the island. Our stop at port lucaya was amazing. shops, casinos, and beautiful beaches

The tour on the bus was pretty good, the tour guide was really good. He seemed to know all the facts about the island. I didn't really like the market that much, too crowded. Kind of a boring tour.
