Not very much to do at port but grand Bahamas island in a whole is great. I love the Caribbean pine . Luckily we went on a excursion through carnival because there’s not much to look at but factory after factory

Freeport snorkel tour is a great excursion. We had a great time and there was lots to see under water.

Freeport was nothing special. I would have preferred to skip that day and the money I spent there.

An hour afer arriving on the Island, it started to rain. Everyone went under cover into the bar. Was stuck on the island for 4 hrs. The DJ didn't attempt to get the party going. The same music was played over and over and over again. They offered cards,& dominos for entertainment. The food was ok.

You have to travel 12 miles to get to the showing area and beaches. And if you aren't into shopping, the trip ashore really isn't worth it.

A dump where u are docked (all industrial). $5/person to their beach and shopping area. Annoying, pushy vendors, but good deals for name brands if your looking to spend the big bucks. Real coconuts with a pina colada inside is pretty cool. The Western Hotel was beautiful where we used their facilities (jacuzzi, beach) but not much to do otherwise. Swimming with the dolphins, though I did not get to do it, is a bit pricey for about $200/person.
