I was impressed with how quickly the town cleaned up Hurricane Dorian's damage. Still, it was a strange port -- it felt like a shipping yard, not a tourist area. And, the beaches were less "tropical" than I expected. I'm glad I could visit it once, but I wouldn't go back again.

I almost do not want to tell everyone but Paradise Cove is way to go in Freeport! We will never do anything else if we port there! It's not overpriced and the snorkeling was amazing!

My family took the beach tour, it was very good, The water was clear and blue. Their was water activities such as water trampoline, kayaking and jet ski. It lasted 2 1/2 hours and we'll worth the time.

We went on the glass bottom boat tour. Very nice, beautiful water. The crew was fun and entertaining.

Paradise cove, Take taxi to / RT, Lots of turtles. Being underwater camera! Bring your own gear or rent. Rent umbrella and chair. 25min ride each way. $16 RT pp. large vans for 12

I did an excursion to pirates cove, the beach was gorgeous, first time seeing water so blue with white sand, I was annoyed by the locals constantly asking for you to purchase something

We did an all inclusive beach day through the ship. It was a really nice and clean beach. The food was great and the drinks were good. The drinks were also very strong.

It's fairly a quiet area. I definitely suggest getting some type of excursion. You may otherwise be discouraged of the port.
