I was a little worried about Freeport because of the fact that it was such a commercial port area, but we went across the island to Taino Beach and really had a great couple hours of beachtime in the sun.

We did the kayak with beach and lunch. Excellent excursion would do it again. Sam, our guide, was awesome. He took time to help those that were having difficulty with kayaking but also was very informative about the adventure and Freeport Bahamas.

This ship's port as at the far end of the island and is no where near the downtown area which has the attractions..The only things to do on this island are the Lucaya Market and Beach. The market itself is nothing to write home about and feel really pressured by the local to purchase items. The beach is very nice and are able to rent jet skis, banana boats, and parasail. We did not do any of the shore excursions that were offered by the ship at this port. To take a taxi from port to the downtown area it was $10 for two people one way.
