Don't know if it was the luck in the tour that we selected or if there is really nothing going on in Saint John but it was a very underwhelming port of call. Not much to see. Very little in the way of sightseeing or activities. Felt like we paid $70 each for a bus ride of someone's neighborhood.

We loved St. John. We enjoyed local brew and steamers at the pub across from the pier, then took a trolley tour through the city to the reversing falls. Another time I would go to the falls and stay several hours to enjoy the change of tides. We especially liked St. John. The bagpiper playing as we were leaving that evening was so cool! We loved him!

The jet boat ride through the falls looked pretty adventurous. We rode rented bicycles to the falls in lieu of a guided tour.

Don't miss the reverse rapids. Such a site to see. The tour of the Montello tower was really interesting.

We did not take one of the offered excursions. We had a map and set out on our own. Some of the most beautiful churches. Architecture was amazing.

Not much to do in town, so most people go to the reversing falls, which is a bus ride away.

The port area itself looks industrial. The city tour in trolley was fun. The reversing falls were nice. The ugly paper mill unfortunately spoils the view. Nothing exceptional, but overall it was nice.
