Either go an extra extra day early or stay a couple of extra days. Lots to do and old Montreal was so alive. Great for families, historians, young and old.

Spend an extra day 8n this port if you can. Old town is right at the terminal and offers great history, bars, food and entertainment. Many would say overpriced or overrated but we'll worth it. Easy to walk around or plenty of excursions to choose from. Don't miss the cathedral or Jacques catrier place.

I live here- so it’s my favourite port. If I didn’t though, I would have walked around old Montreal- just steps from where the ship is docked. Go see Notre Dame Basilica ! The metro is easy and safe to use, and I recommend you see any of the following -St Joseph’s Oratory, the Botanical Gardens, or walk in Ste Catherine street (which looks like any US Downtown ) or take a taxi up to the top of Mount Royal for a spectacular view of the city! While French is still the primary language here, you’ll find many more English speaking merchants/people here.

Rainy day for us. Port was under renovation so we had to board at temporary site which was congested & took a long time. Cab driver said that next year when port is moved back to Old Town, that passengers usually arrive early morning & explore the area until time to board.

I hadn't been there since 2012 it's gotten worse. A lot more homeless and a lot more crime. The underground shopping was closed due to an event. The tower at Olympique park is closed. There is no rest rooms to be found anywhere. We spent 165$ for 4 people for lunch and that is with no drinks. Prices are worse then New York City! People are even more rude then NYC!

Nice and big city. The reason we have chosen Zaandam is because other bigger ships won't come to Montreal. Unfortunately we had several rainy days in the city.

Spent four days in Montreal, saw EVERYTHING. Rented a car spent a week driving to Niagara Falls before flying out of Buffalo.
