The Saguenay fjords are beautiful! There's a hike up the mountain close to the port that allows to experience the views w/o having to go to the national park. While the port is Quant, they had an adorable reception I've never experienced before w/ locals.

This is actually the incorrect port for this itinerary, it was Sydney. We did a stunning Cape Breton tour that was like a trip to Scotland on the Cabor Trail. It included lunch at a local cafe and a visit to a cool, old-timey hotel like in Dirty Dancing.

We were greeted at the pier by townspeople dancing in costume and we were given flags, maple syrup ice sticks and blueberry juice for a friendly welcome.

Not a lot to do here. Fiord museum and glass blowing worth while. Took the $20USD cruise bus

There isn't much to see or do according to my surveys before the trip. But I ended up taking a local hop on/off bus that came with 2 routes. Not bad at all and glad to see the place beyond the port area. There were a few interesting points that we enjoyed.

What a great welcome. The music, dancing, blueberry pie and chocolate were great. My woodworking husband actually got to make some sawdust & came home with a super momento. Our tour was interesting. Both the terminal market and the little market behind the church were fun shopping.

We saw the town from the seaplane, amazing views of the national parks, the river and fijords.
