In Halifax we opted for the Top 10 Best of Halifax tour which was the best tour of the trip. Although it was pouring rain in Halifax it didn't make the tour any less enjoyable or the city any less gorgeous. Our tour guide, Linda, was like an encyclopedia of information. I was amazed at how much she knew and could elaborate on. She really made the tour enjoyable and memorable. The Victorian Garden was a huge plus for me, as well as seeing a Maple Syrup factory, and discovering the rich history of the Titanic that is connected to Halifax. The drive through Halifax had spectacular views.

Halifax is an attractive city, and all of the principal sights are located within walking distance of the port area. Our excursion was a coach tour of the city, the highlights of which were a walk through a beautiful public park and a moving visit to a cemetery where more than 150 victims of the Titanic are buried.

We took a tour out to Ruby’s Cove. It was a national holiday and there were tons of people at the famous lighthouse, but still it was a nice experience. Our guide told us about everything I think in Halifax and surrounding area. Almost too much information, but a good experience overall.
