We decided we weren't doing any excursions with the boat but we did hop on hop off this day through the port but we had to use or room key, so we didn't make that mistake again. We stopped at Maritime Museum which was up road a bit only then to see a cute we train type vehicle that took donations to go round I think. Overall it was good n we got to c all the sites

A pleasant and interesting city. We did not pay for a shore excursion, which we generally do not view as good values on this or any other line. In Halifax you can walk to the Maritime Museum, and Public Garden. And you can take a public bus (#9) to the cemetery of the Titanic victims.

Waterfront sites and shops and art were wonderful. We walked around on our own. If you need anything, there is a grocery/superstore within walking distance from the ship.
