This is a tiny little town. They try really hard to be easy to visit. Everybody is very kind and helpful. But there is very little to see or do. We took a shuttle bus into town and just walked around. There was a very nice local history museum that we spend an hour in that had some very interesting exhibits. Then we stopped in a few cute shops, and had a nice lunch. (We like to patronize local restaurants if possible so the locals feel like they get some benefit of all the strangers wandering around in their town. We also try to buy at least one small item to remember the port from a local shop for the same reason. Too many ports are being overwhelmed by cruisers who never spend a dime in the town).

Another great port. Beautiful country. We took the Gros Morne National Park excursion - absolutely beautiful ride with several stops. The most disappointing stop was the National Park. There is a building with an exhibit and a movie - neither were very interesting. Spent way too much time here. Lunch at a local hotel, seafood that was not prepared well and tasteless. The other stops and the countryside are worth the excursion.

This was our itinerary change and we could have well just enjoyed another day at sea instead. Not much here although the people were extremely friendly but the town was not cruise ship-friendly as we seemed to overwhelm them. They certainly tried their best though.
