We loved this port - there was time to tour both Bar Harbor and Acadia. We had time in the afternoon to take the free bus back to Acadia to visit Jordon Pond. Beautiful.

Beautiful small "fishing" town. Only thing that sucked was tendering in/out, but it was a cool little town and everything you want/need is kind of just right there. Nice shops, restaurants, friendly locals. We did a motorcoach thru Acadia National Park (waste of time, as you saw a lot, but it was literally from a bus window) and had lobster afterwards back in the village/town. That was fun.

Our favorite port...fun shops, and food...we took the nature excursion, it was nice but wouldn’t do that one again.

Bus tour around the island. Coming back we were going to do Acadia Nat. Park but it was so foggy and rainy that you would only see bottom of trees and no view from Cadillac Mountain

We arrived too early in the season. 1/2 the shops weren't even open yet.
