Bermuda is lovely and we want to go back. The beaches are beautiful and there is good snorkeling, and the history is interesting and well-presented. If you buy a bus pass, it is also good on the ferries, and there are frequent buses and ferries so you can set your own schedule. Everything is expensive, so be prepared. The people were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

Loved St. Catherine Beach. Had all options (chairs, umbrellas, bar and snack bar, etc.). Loved Tabacco Bay as well but much smaller. Shelly Bay Beach is not a great spot as most internet websites say. There is no facilities and no snack bar.

The beaches and snorkeling are a must see. I personally didn't do the cave excursion but I heard from another passenger it was magnificent. No great deals on shopping. Dined at Tom Moore's Tavern for dinner one evening. Very $$$$ but worth it with the dine around voucher. Service outstanding, food excellent! The harbor night celebration in St. George's on Tuesday and then in Hamilton on Wednesday is really a waste of time. It's basically a flea market but on a much smaller scale. People selling their handmade wares.

The must see's of the trip would be Horseshoe Beach, Elbow Beach, Catamaran adventure ( shore excursion). A waste of time would be the festival they have in st. George on Tue night and the festival in Hamilton held on Wed. night. They are both hyped up to be something they're not. NCL gives you passes to dine ashore, the selections on the menu for this are very slim.

Clearly, things are shutting down in St. George. I noticed one bar on the square was no longer open and some shops are shuttered. With the "Free Style" cruising, I'm afraid they are attracting a less affluent passenger base and these are not supporting the on shore businesses the way the more affluent passengers of the past were likely to do.
