Review summary

We totally enjoyed our cruise to Bermuda. It's nice to have your first day at sea, this way you have time to enjoy the ammenties of the cruise ship. After that it was great having 4 days in Bermuda, all the while having easy access to the ship whenever we wanted - day or night. This particular ship was not as large as others I have been on but I actually preferred it. Remember, bigger ship means more people. It was nice and you actually felt as though you got to know the staffer who work on the Crown a little more personally. This particular ship will be going into dry-dock in November where they will actually be splitting the ship in two in order to make it larger - amazing how they can do this!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was wonderful and we actually were very pleased with the portion control. My only comment is that there were times that the menu description of an appetizer or entree did not always match what was served - even though it was what we ordered (i.e. asparagus w/sauce - ended up being string beans, one asparagus and sauce). However, everything was very tasty!

It's not easy being in customer service, but they were great in every aspect.

St. George's, Bermuda

We actually enjoyed the caves.
Don't Miss: Church Bay is heaven! However, be careful of the riptides in Bermuda.

Hamilton, Bermuda

The dockyard is not a "must see". Nice but Bermuda has beautiful beaches all along the coast. We did realize that the north side beaches are less rough than the south side.
Don't Miss: Horseshoe Bay is on the 100 things to see before you - well you know - list. Very crowded, but very beautiful.

Pros: Loved the fact that this was a "destination" cruise. Sail, stay for 4 days, sail back.

Cons: Sometimes the description of meals weren't exact.
